Clash over Farage's absence
Presenters Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway spoke to Richard Tice shortly after Nigel Farage won the Clacton by-election. Farage did not appear at the count, claiming Essex Police informed him of a threat against him.
During the interview, Kate asked Tice whether the party was concerned about a threat to life, injury, or humiliation, as Farage had described. Tice replied: "Ultimately, it is a threat to his safety and security. That's the key judgement."

Tice became frustrated with the line of questioning, saying: "Seriously, I think you need to get a grip. I'm talking about Nigel's safety, security and remaining alive, and you're playing on words by different people who might be giving advice."
Ranvir clarified that a Reform UK spokesperson had told reporters that Essex Police advised Farage to stay away due to a credible threat.
