Former Love Island contestant Georgia Steel has tipped Lorenzo and Julia to win the 2026 final, calling them "great characters" who would elevate the show.

Speaking on behalf of NetBet UK, Steel said: "Julia and Lorenzo, hands down. I just think individually they're great characters." She added that their victory would have a beneficial effect for ITV: "They look really high end and it kind of pulls Love Island up a level in my opinion."
The final airs tonight on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm, with host Maya Jama revealing the winning couple from the remaining four pairs.
Steel's Love Island history
Georgia Steel first appeared on Love Island in 2018 during series four, which was won by her friend Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham. She later joined Love Island Games in 2023, lasting just three days, and returned for the first series of Love Island: All Stars in 2024. She reached the final with Toby Aromolaran but the couple split after the show. Steel is now engaged to Ipswich Town footballer Harry Clarke.
Advice for islanders
Steel advised the new batch of contestants to take time to process the experience: "When you do come out, everybody does want a piece and I think it's really important to kind of find yourself." She reflected on her own experience at age 19, saying she "completely lost myself" and wished she had taken a month to adjust before re-entering public life.
