Reality TV personality Freddy Brazier is said to have locked horns with his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Holly Swinburn, over his plans to star in a documentary series about becoming a father.
TV Dreams and Real-Life Tensions
The 21-year-old, who is expecting his first child, is reportedly keen to sign a contract with ITV to share his fatherhood journey with the public. However, a source reveals this ambition has become a major point of contention since the couple's most recent split in November.
"Freddy is excited to share his fatherhood journey with the world, but the break up has complicated things," an insider told The Sun. "Holly doesn’t want the birth to be filmed, but he’s trying to convince her to capture everything on camera." The source added that ironing out the details for the potential ITV show has been "a real sticking point."
A Tumultuous Relationship and Co-Parenting Fears
Freddy and Holly, who have had an on-off relationship, announced the pregnancy in September. They briefly reconciled in an attempt to make things work before parting ways again. The breakdown has reportedly been fraught, with friends claiming Holly reacted to being dumped by trying to take Freddy's dog, a bully named Pablo.
Insiders close to the model suggest he is finding the prospect of co-parenting daunting as relations have become "very difficult." "The pair have been arguing a lot recently. Having a baby so young is a lot to deal with. Both are quite flighty characters," shared the insider. It was also revealed that Freddy, who previously admitted he is 'scared to be a dad', initially sought a paternity test, which later confirmed he is the father.
Family Legacy and Personal Struggles
Freddy, the second son of the late Jade Goody, lost his mother to cervical cancer in 2009 when he was just four. He has since been raised by his father, Jeff Brazier, alongside his older brother Bobby, 22. Since announcing the pregnancy in August, Freddy has vowed to turn his life around and has repaired his relationship with Jeff.
However, family dynamics remain complex. Jade's mother, Jackiey Budden, helped raise the boys, but she and Jeff have clashed multiple times over the years. In the past, Jeff considered legal action to limit access between Freddy and his maternal grandmother in a bid to 'keep him safe'.
Freddy's representative declined to comment when contacted by The Daily Mail about the reported TV show dispute.
