Emmerdale's Katie Hill breaks silence over Sarah's killer move

Emmerdale star Katie Hill has spoken out after her character Sarah Sugden accidentally killed Dr Caitlin Todd in recent episodes of the ITV soap. Hill, who has played Sarah since 2017, took to Instagram to thank fans for their messages following the dramatic scenes.

Sarah's Killer Move

In the storyline, Sarah, who has Fanconi Anaemia, pushed Dr Todd after the doctor taunted Charity Dingle about the paternity of her baby Leyla. Dr Todd tripped and hit her head on a table, dying from her injuries. Sarah and Charity then tried to cover up the death, with former police officer Serena Sugden helping them stage a self-defence claim.

Charity's Confession

However, Charity shocked everyone by calling the police and confessing to the killing herself. Serena then helped Charity construct a self-defence story, even scratching her arm with Dr Todd's hand to make it look like a struggle had occurred.
