Emmerdale has confirmed a major revenge twist involving DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge), revealing her connection to the Tate family. A flashback sequence to 1999 showed a younger Kim Tate (Claire King) staring at Thea through a hospital ward window, explaining the detective's vendetta against Kim.

Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) broke down in tears, struggling to come to terms with the loss of her husband Jimmy (Nick Miles), who died last week. Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was in a similar situation as he attempted to process the devastating loss of wife-to-be Dawn (Olivia Bromley), who lost her life in the wake of the crash. Joe is hellbent on revenge against Caleb Miligan (William Ash), but it remains to be seen whether he will follow through.

Viewers know she is hiding a big secret, seemingly in regards to the crash that claimed Dawn and Jimmy's lives.
Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) informs Kev Barton (Chris Cohgill) that, in the wake of everything that has happened, he has decided to postpone proposing to Lewis (Bradley Riches). How Kev will take the news remains to be seen.
