Max's history with Linda
Max Branning (Jake Wood) has a complicated history with Linda, having previously hidden the fact that her son Ollie's (Harry Farr) bullying was caused by his grandson Louis Beale (Jake McNally). After Linda discovered his deception, she told him he sickened her and declared any potential relationship dead.
Despite this, Max's charm won her over again, but her walls went back up when she found him with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins). Linda then had a rebound fling with Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp), leaving Max jealous.
Currently, Max is engaged to Cindy while also having an illicit affair with Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy). Linda, meanwhile, has been swept off her feet by councillor Clive Masters (Jason Durr), who helped her campaign to save the community centre.
