Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher’s (Jay Kontzle) plan to leave Emmerdale has begun – but it may not end the way they hope. Dawn concluded that she wanted to leave Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and get back with Billy after her ex shared the news that Joe attacked him at the depot.
The thing is, Joe is innocent – for once. The person who actually put Billy in hospital was Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), who was at the depot after learning that friend Steve (Jason Done) was planning on robbing the place. When Billy interrupted the duo, Kev grabbed a crowbar.
Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) saw that it was Kev on the CCTV. The footage was deleted as part of her plan to frame Joe.
Ruby and Caleb Help Plot the Exit
Ruby and Caleb Miligan (William Ash) are now busy helping Billy and Dawn plot their exit, all because it will leave Joe with absolutely nothing. At the hospital, the couple confirmed that they’d be able to sort Dawn, Billy and the kids out with new passports.
Dawn told Billy they should go to Spain, but he seemed a bit hesitant. A visit from Joe ultimately changed Billy’s mind though. He told Dawn to call Ruby for her help, because they’ll be moving to Spain very soon.
Will They Get Their Happy Ending?
But will they, though? While reports suggest Olivia Bromley is leaving her role as Dawn Taylor, there currently isn’t any indication Jay Kontzle is departing as Billy Fletcher. It fuels the theory that Dawn and Billy’s hope for a happy ending isn’t going to happen.
What does the future hold for Dawn?
