Dani Dyer Returns to Family Life After Terrifying Celebrity SAS Underwater Ordeal
Dani Dyer's Day Off After Dramatic Celebrity SAS Challenge

Reality TV star Dani Dyer was spotted enjoying a mundane Monday with her young family, a stark contrast to the terrifying underwater challenge she faced on television just hours before.

From SAS Drama to School Run

The 29-year-old former Love Island winner was seen pushing her two-year-old twin daughters, Summer and Star, in a buggy while accompanied by her four-year-old son, Santiago. Dressed for the chilly weather in a cosy shearling coat and minimal makeup, Dyer looked relieved to be back in the comfort of her regular routine.

This peaceful family outing followed the broadcast of her first dramatic episode on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins on Channel 4 the previous night. The show's eighth series features 14 celebrities from the UK and US undergoing extreme physical and psychological tests led by chief instructor Billy Billingham and his directing staff.

A "Catastrophic Fail" Underwater

Sunday's episode presented the recruits with a life-threatening emergency evacuation drill. In pairs, they were harnessed into a plane fuselage, submerged underwater from a height of 260 feet, and told to hold their breath before escaping through a rear door.

Dyer, paired with Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney, 46, was visibly petrified. Before the descent, she confessed to Billingham, "I'm petrified." Inside the sinking plane, she admitted, "I really want to cry but I don't want to cry. I'm really scared."

Despite Moloney's attempts to encourage focus, Dyer panicked and cut the challenge short, escaping the submerged craft early. "I'm so sorry," she told her partner, as instructor Billy Billingham declared the attempt a "catastrophic fail."

Reflecting on "One of the Hardest Experiences"

Ahead of the episode's airing, Dyer shared her nerves on Instagram Stories, calling the show "one of the hardest experiences of my entire life." Interestingly, despite the trauma, the star—who was forced to quit Strictly Come Dancing last year due to injury—said she would be keen to try again.

"I'd love to do it again and be a lot more headstrong, and a lot more...not a wimp," she admitted. "But do you know what? It was great."

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
