Dani Dyer was left with a bloody nose after being punched in the face during the premiere of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The 29-year-old former Love Island star faced Married At First Sight Australia's Jessika Power in a boxing match, which was part of the brutal special forces training.
Despite wearing protective headgear, Dani took a direct hit to the face, resulting in a bloody nose. Jessika was declared the winner by chief instructor Mark 'Billy' Billingham. Dani described the experience as 'brutal' but said it made her 'a lot stronger'.
Speaking to The Mirror, Dani said: 'I knew it was going to be hard and I didn’t go in there thinking, “It’s just a TV thing,” but it was just as hard, if not harder.' She added that the show taught her she can handle anything life throws at her.
Dani also revealed that her father, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, thought she was 'nuts' for signing up. She said: 'He was really proud of me but we went, “I’d never do that. I don’t know how you’re my child!”'
The new series of Celebrity SAS features British and Australian celebrities training together for the first time. The show airs Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
