Coronation Street star Sydney Martin has given fans a glimpse inside her sun-soaked break with a couple of her castmates, which she said she 'would recommend'. The actress is best known for playing Betsy Swain in the ITV soap, having joined back in 2024. The teenage character first appeared on-screen as Sabrina Adetiba's mate, before it was revealed that she is the daughter of the now Lisa Connor-Swain.
She's since been involved in a number of the soap's biggest storylines in the last couple of years, and she has more big scenes ahead, as not only has she recently discovered the dead body of one of her neighbours on her mum and Carla Connor's wedding day, but it was also revealed that she's set to be involved in an upcoming storyline for Dylan Wilson.
But with the soap filming up to two months in advance, last week, Sydney revealed she was taking a break from the famous cobbles as she swapped Weatherfield for Tuscany in Italy. In the clip posted on Instagram, the soap star looked fabulous as she sported a pastel green two-piece, which boasted a cami top and asymmetric skirt, as she danced around in front of the camera. Her newly dyed brunette locks flowed down in waves past her shoulders as she soaked up her gorgeous surroundings. She captioned the clip: 'Feel like a garden fairy in the middle of Tuscany,' before the comments came flooding in.
Now, Sydney has returned to social media with more updates and shared how she ended up enjoying some of her time away with her Corrie co-stars Liam McCheyne and Ryan Prescott, who are best known for playing Dylan and Ryan Connor in the long-running show. She snapped a photo of her fellow soap stars as they beamed for the camera in sunnier climes, before the trio posed for a smiling selfie as they enjoyed their holiday adventures. Alongside the post, Sydney wrote: 'Highly recommend going on your holibobs with your work family.'
