Charlotte Dawson Pauses Hit Podcast 'Naughty Corner' Amid Family 'Chaos'
Charlotte Dawson pauses podcast due to family life 'chaos'

Reality television personality Charlotte Dawson has announced she is putting her successful podcast, 'Naughty Corner', on hold. The 33-year-old former 'Ex On The Beach' star cited the demands of motherhood and the general 'chaos' of life as the reasons for the hiatus.

An Emotional Farewell to the 'Naughty Corner'

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Dawson shared the news with her followers. She revealed that after an incredible year which saw the podcast amass more than a million downloads, the decision was made to 'pause the podcast for now'.

'With life being especially busy at the moment (kids, chaos and everything in between), this feels like the right moment to take a breather,' she wrote. Dawson expressed her gratitude for the platform, describing it as a place where she shared her own parenting journey and where listeners' stories, whether 'beautiful, bonkers, or everything in between', lifted her up.

She also thanked her co-host Janine, calling her a 'partner in crime', and all the guests who had appeared on the show over the past year.

Fans React with Heartbreak and Support

The announcement was met with an outpouring of disappointment from loyal listeners. Many credited the podcast with providing crucial support during difficult times.

One fan commented that the show 'got me through the newborn stage, postnatal depression and made me feel like I wasn’t failing as a mum!' Others lamented the loss of their regular listening schedule, with one asking, 'No what will I listen to on my Tuesday commute to the office?' while another pleaded, 'Please come back I love the pod! You’re bloody hilarious.'

Dawson Addresses Split Rumours with Fiancé

The podcast news follows a turbulent week for Dawson, during which she was forced to publicly deny rumours of a split from her fiancé, Matt Sarsfield. Reports had suggested the pair, who have been together for eight years, had a blazing row following the launch of her tanning brand last Thursday and had subsequently parted ways.

It was alleged that Matt walked out of the launch party and had blocked Dawson on WhatsApp. A source claimed the split was 'for good' and that Dawson was 'trying to put a brave face on it'.

However, Dawson took to Instagram to set the record straight. Sharing a snap with Matt, she insisted, 'it’s not true we are still together' and even revealed they had gotten matching tattoos of their children's names. On her Instagram Story, she described having the 'worst week ever', losing her voice from shouting at the launch and being 'shattered'.

While the future of 'Naughty Corner' is on pause, Dawson's focus appears firmly on navigating the chaos of family life and business ventures with her fiancé by her side.
