Celebrity Apprentices Lapland Challenge Turns Disastrous

The Celebrity Apprentice Christmas special, airing in aid of BBC Children in Need, saw a star-studded lineup head to Lapland to create gingerbread biscuits. However, the festive challenge quickly turned sour as teams struggled with product development, marketing, and pitching to retailers.

The celebrities, including AJ Odudu, Angela Scanlon, Charlie Hedges, Eddie Kadi, Jake Wood, JB Gill, Kadeena Cox, Matt Morsia, Rob Rinder, Sarah Hadland, Shazia Mirza, and Tom Skinner, were split into two groups. Their task was to develop a gingerbread biscuit, create an advert and jingle, and secure sales from retailers.

Lord Sugar expressed surprise at Tom Skinner's inclusion, joking about his audacity to call himself a celebrity. Skinner became emotional in the boardroom, reflecting on how The Apprentice changed his life. Sugar noted that the celebrity specials are always for charity, and he has lost count of how many they have done.

Mike Soutar replaced Tim Campbell as advisor for this special. Sugar praised Soutar's knowledge of the show, saying he was a very good choice. The biscuits will be sold in supermarkets this Christmas, with all proceeds going to Children in Need.
