Brittany Cartwright Declares She's Ready to Date After Bitter Divorce
Brittany Cartwright: 'I'm Single, So Introduce Me'

Reality television star Brittany Cartwright has publicly announced her availability for romance as she navigates her ongoing divorce from former husband Jax Taylor.

Public Declaration at BravoCon

During the Peaks & The Valley panel at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Friday, the 36-year-old made her relationship status crystal clear to attendees. "I am single, so introduce me," Cartwright declared from the stage, marking her official return to the dating scene.

The mother-of-one took the opportunity to address speculation about her recent involvement with Brandon Hanson, firmly denying allegations that she had dated him while he was still married. Cartwright explained that Hanson was already separated from his wife when their brief romance began.

"It was like a short lived thing. It got more popular on the internet, like much quicker than it should have. So I would not have went public with that," she revealed, adding emphatically, "I'm not a homewrecker."

Priorities in Finding New Love

Cartwright was specific about what she's looking for in her next partner, placing particular importance on their relationship with her four-year-old son Cruz, whom she shares with Taylor.

"Somebody who's a family man, somebody who eventually would love Cruz. You know, he's my priority," she noted during the panel discussion.

The television personality, who first found fame alongside Taylor on Vanderpump Rules before both moved to The Valley, had previously ended her relationship with Hanson in mid-October. Their romance had become public knowledge just two months earlier when they were spotted on a romantic getaway to Mexico.

Reflecting on Past Relationships

On her podcast When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright, she described her connection with Hanson as "a whirlwind relationship" that entered the public eye "way sooner than we ever would have wanted."

Despite their separation, Cartwright maintained that the split was amicable, citing long-distance challenges and Hanson's commitments to his three children and career as primary reasons for their decision to part ways.

The dating announcement comes shortly after Cartwright underwent what she described as a 'mommy makeover' surgery, which included a tummy tuck and breast reduction. She confessed on her podcast that her decision stemmed partly from hurtful comments Taylor made about her body during their relationship, including that she "looked like a tree trunk."

"I was torn down in my last relationship and lost a lot of my confidence, so I really wanted to get my confidence back," she explained.

Fans have witnessed the dramatic breakdown of her marriage to Taylor across the first two seasons of The Valley. Taylor has publicly confessed to cocaine addiction and anger issues, though he now maintains he is sober.

Cartwright has accused her ex-husband of violent behaviour during their relationship, claiming he once "threw" a coffee table during an argument that struck her knee, which "turned black immediately." She also alleged he once "threw me into the rose bushes," an accusation Taylor denied, though Cartwright retorted: "It's on my Ring camera doorbell."

Taylor announced his departure from The Valley this past July, stating he planned to focus on his sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting relationship with Cartwright.

The couple began dating in 2015, exchanged vows in 2019, and by February 2024, Cartwright disclosed their separation on their joint podcast, marking the end of their nearly nine-year relationship.
