Big Brother housemate Gani has left fellow contestants stunned after revealing he was forced to marry his own cousin and is now a father to a 10-month-old son. The 39-year-old pizza shop manager from south London opened up to housemate Jenny about his personal life during Thursday night's episode of the hit ITV show.
Gani, who entered the house as openly bisexual, explained that his father pressured him into marriage despite his own reluctance. He recounted that in December 2023, his father demanded he marry, and he felt unable to refuse. The marriage took place in January 2024 with his cousin, and the couple now have a baby boy.
Jenny was visibly shocked by the revelation and asked if Gani was still married. He confirmed he is, adding that he loves his wife and son. When asked about divorce, Gani said he did not marry to get divorced and expressed a desire to repair his relationship and be with his family.
