In a welcome respite from the typical high-octane challenges, Big Brother Australia housemates Bruce Dunne and Coco Beeby were spotted sharing a serene moment by the house's stylish outdoor pool on Wednesday. The scene at Dreamworld offered a glimpse of calm for the famous contestants.
Poolside Peace for Reality Stars
Coco Beeby, 30, appeared completely relaxed as she lounged on a sunbed, soaking up the sun's warmth. The reality star showcased her stunning figure in a bikini top and G-string, her glowing complexion and effortless confidence epitomising poolside glamour.
Meanwhile, Bruce Dunne, 25, took a refreshing dip in the nearby pool. The Queensland tradie sported nothing but a pair of black shorts, giving housemates and viewers a clear view of his impressively toned abs. After cooling off, he climbed out of the water and settled onto the sunbed next to Coco, both clearly enjoying the tranquil moment away from the cameras and constant competition.
Drama Erupts Following First Eviction
This peaceful interlude followed significant drama earlier in the week after the Channel Ten series said goodbye to its first housemate. Controversial contestant Michael Downs, 47, was evicted on Sunday and immediately set tongues wagging with a scathing final message directed at new couple Holly and Colin.
Before leaving the house, Michael left a farewell missive for his fellow participants where he did not hold back regarding the much-talked-about romance. He revealed he didn't think Colin, 21, and Holly's, 31, connection would survive outside the house, accusing the model of 'playing a game' by starting a relationship with the hopeful MMA fighter.
Michael suggested Holly's aim was gaining 'more notoriety outside of the house' through the on-screen alliance, a strategic move he claimed was 'pretty obvious to everyone in the house except Colin'.
Fallout from Blunt Confession
The blunt confession had a visible impact on Colin, who in his piece to camera began questioning his romance with Holly. 'I can't even comprehend why she'd like me,' he confessed. 'If something is too good to be true, it usually is, right?'
It appears Michael and Colin aren't the only ones with doubts about the relationship's authenticity. Viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to praise Michael for calling out the relationship as fake. One person wrote: 'Michael is back in the house to drop some home truths! And he actually woke up right after he left, what perfect timing!'
When approached for comment by Daily Mail, a Channel Ten spokesperson stated: 'Big Brother has been home to some iconic romances over the years, and it looks like Holly and Colin are making their way onto that list. Their relationship formed organically in the house, and we're watching it unfold at the same time as viewers at home thanks to the 24/7 livestream on 10. Big Brother never claimed to be a matchmaker, but Australia, he's just as invested as you are.'
