This week's eviction on reality show Big Brother has been cancelled after one contestant quit and another was taken to hospital. Channel 4 confirmed that nominations have been declared null and void due to the departure of Caoimhe and the absence of Keeley.
Keeley fractured her ankle while attempting to climb out of a bath dressed as a spider during a challenge. She was initially treated on set before being taken to hospital, where she underwent surgery. She is expected to remain in hospital for a few days, and producers will discuss with her whether she will return to the show.
Caoimhe, an Irish student, chose to leave the house because she missed her boyfriend. She stated, 'I've had some amazing highs and some lows, but I know I'm making the right decision for myself.'
Presenter Davina McCall was scheduled to interview Caoimhe on Wednesday night's show but was unable to attend due to a strike by French air traffic controllers. The interview will now take place on Friday.
