The housemates from the recent season of Big Brother Australia have come together once more, this time for a festive end-of-year reunion in the city of Adelaide.
A Hometown Host and Festive Fun
The gathering was hosted by Edward Doak, who welcomed his fellow reality TV stars to his hometown. Attendees included Colin Ridley, Mia Wijewardene, Michael Downs, Conor Maysey, Vinnie Brigante, Bruce Dunne, and Abiola Oreyomi. The festivities, which took place around Boxing Day, involved a trip on the iconic Skyline Ferris Wheel at Glenelg's waterfront, captured in a TikTok video by Vinnie. The group later moved to a nearby bar and restaurant to continue their celebrations.
Notable Absences from the Party
Not every housemate was able to make the journey. Holly Young, who is now romantically linked with Colin Ridley, confirmed she missed the event due to a last-minute commitment. The season's winner, Coco Beeby, a mother of three, chose to prioritise spending time with her children over the reunion. It also appears that Jane Marshall-Young was absent from the Boxing Day activities, though fellow housemate Allana Jackson managed to fly in a day later on the Saturday for a belated catch-up.
Post-Show Romances Blossom
The reunion news follows revelations of a budding romance between two other cast members. Bruce Dunne, 25, and winner Coco Beeby, 30, recently enjoyed a date they had planned while still in the Big Brother house. Their outing, which Bruce shared on social media, involved coffee, surfing, and a beachside meal at Double Island Beach in Queensland. Coco, who won $135,000, had previously expressed her desire to get to know Bruce better away from the cameras, suggesting their connection is deepening now the show has finished.
The successful gathering indicates the strong bonds formed during their time in the famous house, with friendships—and perhaps more—continuing to thrive well after the cameras stopped rolling.
