Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has shared an inside look at her 'magical' reunion with former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes. The pair met while appearing on the ITV reality show earlier this year, immediately forming an intensely close friendship.
The duo sparked relationship rumours while inside the CBB house, with speculation intensifying after Siwa separated from her partner Kath Ebbs. Since then, they have shared several pictures on Instagram while enjoying a break together in Mexico, coinciding with Siwa's 22nd birthday.
Snaps show them cosied up together, resting their heads on one another, and one with Siwa sitting on Hughes's lap. Another picture shows them lying together on a sunbed while Siwa beams up at Hughes, resting her hand on his chest.
'This years birthday week was more magical than anything,' Siwa wrote. 'Full of surprises, family time, performing, chilling, laughing, loving, smiling, and good meaningful cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn't change a single thing.'
Hughes separately posted on Instagram: 'The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.. 😊💫🎂.' Fans speculated the posts confirmed a romantic relationship, but Hughes previously stressed on This Morning that their bond is strictly platonic, describing it as a 'soulmate friendship'.
