The six housemates who will compete to be crowned the Big Brother 2025 winner were confirmed in a thrilling episode on Thursday, following a surprise double eviction that sent two contestants packing just days before the final.
Magical Eviction in the Land of Oz
In a dramatic twist, the house was completely transformed into the magical world of Oz for a task inspired by Wicked: For Good. The remaining housemates were charged with building the famous Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City. After a magical banquet, they each visited the Wizard to receive a special gift.
It was here that the evictions unfolded. Marcus, a mechanical engineer, opened his box to find a ticket home, making him the tenth housemate to be evicted from the competition. His departure was a devastating blow for fellow contestant Elsa, with whom he had formed a close romantic connection during their time in the house.
Fan Fury as Favourite is Voted Out
The drama did not end there. It was then revealed that a second housemate would also be leaving. The fate came down to Teja and Emily. When both opened their boxes, Teja discovered her own ticket home, confirming her eviction in an emotional farewell.
This was another difficult moment for Elsa, who had also become close friends with Teja. Elsa was reportedly so upset that she threatened to quit the show entirely, before being convinced to stay by the other housemates.
Teja's eviction sparked immediate outrage among viewers, with many taking to social media to declare she had been 'robbed' of a place in the final. Fans were particularly incensed as Teja had been widely tipped as one of the favourites to win the entire series.
Reactions on X included:
- 'Teja my beautiful princess u were robbed.'
- 'Teja getting a backdoor eviction the day before the final is actually the most unjust eviction ITV have done ever I am GUTTED.'
- 'ROBBED. Teja has been an awesome contestant... deserved to be in at least the final 3.'
- 'Emily surviving over Teja... yeah I despise the British public.'
