Perri Kiely, a member of the winning dance troupe Diversity from Britain's Got Talent, has strongly hinted that he may be entering the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. The 30-year-old dancer revealed on the Brothers Uncovered podcast that he has been approached by ITV annually to participate in the show but previously had to decline due to scheduling conflicts. Now, he signals he is ready to take the plunge if asked again.
Diversity's Rise and Perri's Reality TV Aspirations
Diversity shot to fame after winning the second series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009, famously beating Susan Boyle. Since then, the group has become one of the UK's most iconic dance crews. Perri Kiely, a core member, has built a solo career in reality television, appearing on Celebs Go Dating and finishing as runner-up on Dancing On Ice behind Joe Swash. He currently co-hosts the KISS Breakfast Show with Diversity co-star Jordan Banjo.
Podcast Revelations: Perri's Interest vs. Ashley's Reluctance
Speaking on the Brothers Uncovered podcast hosted by Ashley and Jordan Banjo, Perri confirmed his interest when Jordan explained his situation. Ashley Banjo, however, expressed reluctance, stating: "Honestly, the thought of going through those trials, you know, and even being in a camp with everybody no food, like, that situation for me it just sounds really difficult." Perri responded simply: "Testing." When asked if he would prefer SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ashley said: "Yes – for the challenge," leaving Jordan shocked.
Jordan Banjo's Previous Jungle Experience
Jordan Banjo has already represented Diversity in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, having taken part in the 2016 series. His experience may pave the way for Perri, who now appears more open to the challenge. Perri's schedule has cleared, making a potential appearance in the upcoming series plausible.
