Angry Ginge Trolls I'm A Celeb Co-Star Upon Arrival in Australia

I'm A Celeb star Angry Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, wasted no time in trolling the press and aiming a dig at a fellow campmate upon landing in Australia today. The 23-year-old YouTuber and gamer, who boasts over 1.3 million Twitch followers, was mobbed by fans at Brisbane Airport.

The Salford native joked with reporters, claiming he was invited by co-stars. He quipped: 'I got a random phone call last night off Kelly Brook saying she’s coming to visit her Auntie Sheila and do I want to join her? I said: I might as well.' He added that Lisa Riley and rapper Aitch also extended invitations.

In a pointed remark about Aitch, 25, Angry Ginge laughed: 'I'm not the number one fan of his music, but he’s a good guy.' Aitch, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, is a Manchester rapper known for hits like Straight Rhymez and the album Close To Home.

Angry Ginge is the fourth star to arrive for the show, following Kelly Brook, Lisa Riley and Aitch, all of whom gave implausible reasons for their trips. Former EastEnders star Shona McGarty also landed later. Other celebrities expected to join include Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax, Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne.

Discussing his jungle prospects, Angry Ginge told the Mirror: 'I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping. One of the reasons I vowed to never go to Australia was because of the spiders and animals so I am hoping the hotel is secure.' He is currently the bookies' favourite to win, with odds of 3-1.
