Adam Thomas Says David Haye 'Broke Me' on I'm a Celebrity

Adam Thomas has revealed that David Haye left him feeling 'broken' during the filming of I'm a Celebrity South Africa. The Emmerdale actor, 37, shared his struggles on Instagram after watching the series back, admitting it was one of the toughest experiences of his life.

Thomas, who has arthritis, explained that the physical and emotional demands of the show took a severe toll on him. He said the pain and fatigue from his autoimmune disease made it difficult to continue, but he hid his suffering to avoid appearing weak. 'My biggest fight was pretending to put on a brave face and trying to hide the pain,' he wrote.

The former boxer, David Haye, was at the centre of a heated exchange when he pressured Thomas to participate in a Bushtucker trial despite Thomas's health concerns. Thomas described feeling 'pushed to my absolute limit' and acknowledged that the confrontation left him heartbroken. 'He broke me in there,' Thomas said, adding that Haye later apologised and that he has moved on.

Thomas also reflected on the lessons learned from the ordeal, noting that he wished he had spoken up for himself sooner. However, he expressed pride in not giving up, even when he wanted to walk away. Fans flooded his post with support, praising his resilience and kindness.

During the row, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt intervened to defend Thomas, telling Haye to 'stop it.' The incident highlighted the intense pressure of the all-stars edition, which sees former contestants return to the jungle.
