Millie Bobby Brown Fans Slam Husband Jake Bongiovi Over Paparazzi Incident
Millie Bobby Brown fans criticise husband over paparazzi

Fans of actress Millie Bobby Brown have launched a fierce online critique against her husband, Jake Bongiovi, following a viral video that showed the couple being swarmed by paparazzi. The clip, believed to be filmed recently in London, captured the Stranger Things star shielding their infant daughter while Bongiovi appeared to stroll behind them.

Fury Over Paparazzi Confrontation

In the widely shared footage, Millie Bobby Brown, 21, is seen exiting a car while holding her baby girl. She was immediately surrounded by photographers desperate for a picture. The actress was praised for her swift maternal instinct, instantly pulling her child close and glaring at the crowd as she hurried towards a building for safety.

However, the focus of fan anger quickly turned to her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. Viewers noted that he was walking behind Brown and did not appear to intervene or help create a protective barrier around his wife and child.

Social Media Backlash Erupts

The online reaction was swift and severe, with many fans expressing their disappointment in Bongiovi's perceived lack of action.

One user declared, "Divorce baby divorce," while another criticised, "I needed Bon Jovi Jnr to do a bit more here sorry. At least walk beside her and your baby, maybe put your arms out as a shield, not just casually stroll along behind."

A third commenter drew a comparison to Tom Holland's fiercely protective behaviour towards his fiancée Zendaya, writing, "Yeah, he needs to bring some Tom Holland energy to this sort of thing."

Other pointed observations included the fact that Bongiovi was not carrying the diaper bag, a task that reportedly fell to Brown's co-star, Noah. "He seems to make her very happy so I won't extrapolate off a single clip… but dang, at minimum the Dad Radar needs some tuning," one appalled fan noted.

Contrasting Public Image and Private Reality

This public criticism stands in stark contrast to Brown's own recent praise for her husband's parenting. In an interview with British Vogue for their December issue, the actress gushed about Bongiovi's skills as a father.

"We are 50-50 on everything," she stated. "That's why I'm so grateful to have partnered with him in this life – he is just the most amazing dad."

The couple, who tied the knot in May last year, surprised fans in August when they announced they had adopted a baby girl. Brown has often spoken about her desire for a large family, a topic she discussed on the Smartless podcast earlier this year.

"Since I was a baby... I wanted to be a mom," she explained. "Jake knows how important it is to me... I don't see having your own child as really any different [from] adopting."

Despite the fan fury sparked by the brief video clip, Brown's own words paint a picture of a supportive and equal partnership in parenthood. Representatives for both Brown and Bongiovi have been contacted for comment by The Daily Mail.
