Jacob Elordi furiously clashed with paparazzi in Paris while he and girlfriend Kendall Jenner were trying to enjoy a romantic night out in the French capital. The Australian actor, 29, and model Kendall, 30, were approached by waiting photographers, prompting an angry reaction from Elordi, who is known for being private.
Heated exchange with photographers
According to reports, Elordi, star of Euphoria and Elvis, became enraged as photographers attempted to capture pictures of him and Kendall. He addressed the snappers directly, saying: "Wait, wait, wait, stop. You guys have just gotta... Can we just walk home, come on, please!" When his plea was ignored, he added: "Can we just walk home back to our hotel? No flash, just let us walk. Just let us go, please," while shaking his fist.
Kendall Jenner was forced to step in to de-escalate the situation as Elordi became increasingly annoyed. The model had been in Paris to walk in the L'Oréal show during Paris Fashion Week.
Fans praise protective gesture
Many fans praised Elordi for being protective of Kendall. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: "I'm sorry but I'm gagging so bad rn! The smiles? The hands? The way he's so protective of her? The waist grab? This is the hottest thing ever." Another said: "There is nothing hotter than a handsome man protecting the woman he loves." A third tweeted: "He's 1000% right just a dude who's in some movies.. He don't owe paparazzi anything." Elordi and Jenner first went public with their relationship in April this year after being spotted getting cosy at an after-party following Justin Bieber's headline performance at Coachella. They were introduced by Kendall's younger sister, Kylie Jenner. The couple later went viral on TikTok after being seen holding hands in Tokyo, where Elordi recently clashed with a fan, saying: "Don't touch me, bro."
Private life and career
Last month, a source told Page Six that Elordi is "such a gentleman" who "treats Kendall incredibly well." The source added: "They really complement each other. He has this calming presence about him that's been really good for her. She seems very settled and at peace when she's with him."
Despite his successful career, Elordi has made clear he only wants to act and does not wish to be part of the celebrity lifestyle. Speaking on CBS Mornings earlier this year, he said: "My dream was to be an actor. I'm far too nervous to ask for more than that. I've been given exactly what I wanted, and I see it exactly how I dreamed it. I live it how I dreamed it. So that's about all I can handle." He also refrains from having any social media presence.
