Haunting CCTV Footage Captures Jordan Wright's Final Moments

Newly-released CCTV footage shows Jordan Wright, a star from The Only Way Is Essex, in a state of panic during his final moments before his tragic death. The footage, taken at approximately 3:33 am, depicts Wright running frantically through a hotel complex in Thailand, repeatedly looking back over his shoulder as if being chased.

Police Issue New Statement on Investigation

In a recent statement, Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong of the Choeng Thale district police station indicated that the circumstances surrounding Wright's death remain unclear. He stated, 'The circumstances leading up to the death are quite unclear. It is possible that other people were involved.' This has sparked theories that Wright may have been pursued prior to his demise.

The CCTV footage reveals Wright grabbing onto a white pickup truck as he navigates the complex, nearly stumbling in his haste. He is seen weaving erratically between buildings before disappearing from view. It is believed he then traversed rough terrain surrounding the hotel, jumped into a 10-foot-deep creek, and made his way through a shallow stream.

Discovery of the Body and Hotel Details

Wright's body was later discovered on a nearby construction site, an area with no CCTV coverage, where it had been for no more than two days. Police chief Sutthirak Chuthong confirmed that Wright, a British national, had checked into the hotel alone and was due to check out on March 13, but staff reported he never did so.

A source at the hotel mentioned that Wright had not received visitors during his stay and behaved normally until his disappearance. They said, 'He would go out at night like other guests. There was nothing unusual until we could not find him when he was due to check out.' A search of his room revealed no signs of forced entry or irregularities.

Ongoing Investigation and Autopsy Awaited

The case remains under active investigation, with authorities awaiting autopsy results from Vachira Phuket Hospital to determine if drugs were present in Wright's system. Police have stated that the CCTV footage is part of the case file and cannot be released publicly at this stage.

Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong added, 'We cannot confirm the exact cause of death until the autopsy results are released. If relatives or friends have concerns about the cause of death, they can contact the police station.' In the weeks before his death, Wright had shared videos and photos from his time in Phuket on social media, adding to the mystery of the events leading to his tragic end.
