Four emerging Scottish acts will battle it out in Stirling today (Friday) for £5,000 and a place in the UK final of Greene King Untapped, where they could go on to win studio time and exclusive mentoring from McFly’s Danny Jones.
First-ever Belhaven Untapped final
Following regional heats across Scotland, Belle Rana, Kaleidoscope, Pelikan Rogue and T-A have secured their places in the first-ever Belhaven Untapped final, taking place from 6pm at The City Walls in Stirling.
Belhaven Untapped forms part of ‘Live at Your Local’, a nationwide grassroots music campaign, designed to support emerging artists and bring free live music to local communities.
Judging panel and prize
The winner, who will be selected by a panel of music industry professionals including last year’s winner Jasmin Jet, The Voice star Stevie McCrorie, and Music Venue Trust Ambassador and Honeyblood singer Stina Tweeddale, will receive £5,000 to support the next stage of their music career.
They will also secure a place in the Greene King Untapped UK final in London next month, where Live at Your Local ambassador Danny Jones will join the judging panel.
Line-up and details
Among those taking to the stage on Friday is Belle Rana, a Glasgow-based singer songwriter, Aberdonian Indie-Rock band Kaleidoscope. Ayrshire five-piece Pelikan Rogue and Dunfermline’s neo-grunge and post-punk band T-A.

The Belhaven Untapped final will take place from 6pm this Friday (28 August) at The City Walls in Stirling, with free admission.
