Meghan Markle has revealed her favourite summer dessert, an ice cream sundae that can easily be made at home. The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a promotional video for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, demonstrating how to prepare the treat.

In the video, Meghan is seen in her garden in Montecito, California, with her beagle Mia. She layers her new As Ever Raspberry spread, scoops vanilla ice cream, crumbles shortbread, and adds her viral flower sprinkles.
The social media post was accompanied by the message: “Adding this to our summer menu. Meghan’s favourite ice cream sundae with Raspberry Spread, vanilla ice cream, crumbled shortbread, and Flower Sprinkles.”

As Ever later sent a newsletter to customers with the full recipe. Ingredients include ice cream (any flavour, though vanilla is recommended), jam (berry flavours pair best with vanilla), crumbled shortbread, and flower sprinkles.
Directions: Scoop a spoonful (or two!) of Raspberry Spread or Blackberry Spread into the bottom of a large coupe glass. Add your favourite vanilla ice cream. Top with crumbled shortbread for crunch. Add a scattering of Flower Sprinkles over the top.
Birthday celebrations
The video comes as Meghan celebrated her 45th birthday on Tuesday. She shared black-and-white photos of herself jumping into a pool with birthday balloons, along with the message: “Thank you for the birthday love!”
She later posted videos on Instagram stories showing her dancing in her kitchen in Montecito, with Prince Harry heard laughing in the background.
