Strictly Come Dancing professional Aljaz Skorjanec has shared a heartwarming tribute to his wife, Janette Manrara, on her birthday. The 27-year-old dancer posted a throwback picture on social media, showing Janette from seven years ago when they were just colleagues.
In the photo, Janette is beaming while wearing glasses, with Aljaz visible in the mirror behind her. He captioned the image: 'Seven years ago I took this picture of my then college who has since become my best friend my soul mate and my beautiful wife! Happy birthday Bucka @jmanrara! Love you.'
Aljaz and Janette first met in a dance studio in 2010 and both joined the cast of Strictly in 2013. They got engaged two years later and married earlier this year. Fans were quick to comment on the adorable post, with one saying: 'You two melt my heart' and another adding: 'And THERE'S the cute message I was expecting!'
Janette was a favourite to win this year's series with her partner, JLS star Aston Merrygold, until their shock elimination two weeks ago. Aljaz, meanwhile, is still in the competition with his partner, actress Gemma Atkinson, who also celebrates her birthday today.
