The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time remake is now available, but some pre-order bonuses, including a replica of the original Nintendo 64 box, are being listed on eBay for more than £700.
While the US has not received any pre-order bonuses for the remake, the replica Nintendo 64 box has been available in limited quantities across the UK, France, and Canada, exclusively at specific shops during midnight launch events.
Scalpers List Bonuses at High Prices
As seen by GameCentral, one eBay listing asks for £720.70 for a copy of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, the replica Nintendo 64 box, and an ocarina key ring. Another listing has the same collection of items for £516.70, excluding £6.84 delivery.
A separate listing combines the Zelda-themed Switch 2 console, a foil sleeve copy of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, and the spiritual stones set, advertised for £1,025.68.
Spiritual Stones and Ocarina Also Inflated
Even the spiritual stones alone are being sold for £140 without the game. The electric ocarina, which is priced at £44.99 brand new from other retailers, is listed for £119.99.
It is unclear if anyone is buying these bonuses at these prices, but there is currently no other way to obtain the spiritual stones or the Nintendo 64 replica box. Physical copies of the game on the Nintendo Store, where the stones were offered as a pre-order extra, are sold out.
It is uncertain if Nintendo will restock the pre-order bonuses with future runs, although the foil sleeve will only be available 'while supplies last'.
Physical copies of Ocarina Of Time do come with a paper map by default, which may offer some consolation to those missing out on the replica box.
