Xbox and Ubisoft Offer 13 Free PC Games

Xbox and Ubisoft have announced a new partnership that lets console owners redeem free PC copies of 13 Ubisoft games, provided they already own the Xbox version. The titles are available through the Xbox PC app as part of an expansion of the 'Play Anywhere' program.

The 13 games are: Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs Legion.

How to claim the free PC games

“From today, customers that purchase a digital version of the listed titles will immediately get the XBOX console and XBOX on PC digital versions,” the Xbox blog post reads. “For existing owners of an XBOX digital version of the listed titles, you will receive the PC version during a progressive rollout period until August 4.”

An FAQ clarifies that the offer works only from Xbox to PC, not in reverse. Physical disc owners can also claim the PC versions by inserting the disc or using a digital code.

Ubisoft’s recent success

Ubisoft is celebrating the launch of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which sold over 3 million copies in its first week, exceeding yearly expectations. The publisher is also reportedly working on an updated Tom Clancy’s Wildlands and new content for Watch Dogs Legion before the end of 2026.
