Warzone Season 5 patch notes
Verdansk Map - Drone Labs POI added between Quarry, Farms, and east of TV Station. The two primary buildings are connected via a Skybridge and Zipline with multiple interior levels and accessible rooftops. High-value loot is available throughout the facility. A unique Armed JLTV can be unlocked by completing a side quest within Drone Labs. A drone obstacle course north of Drone Labs provides an additional area for player engagements.
Modes - Lockdown Casual: A limited-time mode centered around Drone Labs, with up to 24 players (3 player squads and 3 bot squads). Players capture and hold rotating objective zones to earn points. Players deploy with custom loadouts and continuously respawn with a random Killstreak, including high-value rewards like the Juggernaut. Heavy Metal Heroes (August 6-20): A vehicle-focused 50v50 limited-time mode with heavy vehicles featuring mounted weaponry. Eliminations grant temporary gameplay buffs: increased movement speed, improved weapon handling, ammo regeneration, and armor regeneration. Added mobility pickups: Flicker, Kinetic Jump, Grappling Hook. Increased respawn opportunities through additional Respawn Tokens and reduced Revive and Redeploy Tower timers.
Gameplay - Supply Drones: Can be shot down to access their payload, or players can wait for delivery. Approximately 40% of Legendary Supply Box loot, 15% of Reusable Supply Box loot, and 100% of Personal Supply Box loot is now delivered by Supply Drones. Buy Stations are also delivered by Supply Drones in multiple waves: the initial deployment delivers about 50% of Buy Stations, with additional waves gradually deploying the rest. Players can shoot down airborne Buy Stations to access them early and earn extra rewards. This feature is disabled in Ranked Play.
UI & UX - Players can now drop Lethal and Tactical Equipment directly from their inventory.
