The comeback was announced on Instagram by the popular account 'NewFoodsUK', which posted: "KFC Crisps are back! Spotted at Morrisons." Walkers confirmed the partnership with KFC, noting that the Original Chicken flavour 'perfectly captures' the peppery, salty, and spiced essence of KFC's famous blend of 11 herbs and spices, while the Zinger offers a spicy and zesty kick mimicking the 'zing' of a KFC staple.
Fans had previously pleaded with Walkers directly on social media. One user wrote on X: "@walkers_crisps - please bring back these beauties - Please bring this beauty back, they were the best Walkers Max Double Crunch KFC Zinger crisps."
