TikTok star Epic Gamer Grandma, whose real name was Agnes, has died at the age of 78. Her grandson, Culsans, announced her death on Instagram on Tuesday, stating she passed away peacefully on December 21 with her daughter, Pauline, holding her hand.
Culsans wrote that his grandmother had more than 2.4 million followers on TikTok. He described her as the strongest woman they knew, who spent her later years proving that life does not end at a certain age. Her death follows a major stroke she suffered in October, which was disclosed by Culsans in an update at the time.
Agnes was known for playing games like Minecraft and Phasmophobia on her channels. Alongside TikTok, she had 858,000 followers on Instagram and 117,000 on YouTube. Culsans highlighted that before her online fame, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who always put others first.
In his tribute, Culsans said she became Scotland's biggest elderly creator and showed that the internet is not just for young people. He expressed gratitude to fans for making her feel seen and valued, noting that her story will continue online.
