Viewers of The Voice UK were left emotional after Sir Tom Jones struggled to hold back tears during an emotional moment on the show.
In a clip from tonight's episode, posted to Instagram, will.i.am is seen breaking down in tears. He said, "I am trying to make sense of my emotions right now. We just felt like, the most purest of hearts. 85 years of every experience you can think of in this man's sponge of a soul, and he rinsed it out for us. And we bathed in it."
"Thank you, Sir Tom Jones, for these moments, and I cherish these moments, Tom, and you are a gift to us all," he added. Sir Tom also had tears in his eyes and replied emotionally, "I cherish everybody in this room."
Kelly Rowland wipes away tears
Kelly Rowland wiped away tears as the Destiny's Child singer said, "Beautifully said. How is anybody going to follow that?"
In another teaser clip, Sir Tom mused on reaching 85 while maintaining his vocal prowess — a feat that left fans utterly speechless.
The programme's latest coach, Kelly Rowland, kicked things off by remarking, "85 years young," prompting Sir Tom to echo, "Oh, 85 years young."
Sir Tom reflects on his career
As applause erupted, Kelly observed, "You've seen, heard so much. You have been around the world how many times? You know what I mean?"
Sir Tom acknowledged with a nod, responding, "A lot." He then admitted, "I just love the fact that I can still sing," reports Wales Online.
Kelly responded, "Amen. Your voice changes, and it continues to evolve. But yours is so strong, when you're singing, it is so strong." The audience then began chanting, "Give us a song," prompting Sir Tom to answer, "Well, let's see."

Fans flooded the comments section to celebrate Sir Tom, with one writing, "Bless Tom. What a wonderful man. Will is just a beautiful soul."
Another said, "Bless Tom. What a wonderful man. Will is just a beautiful soul," while a third added, "How beautiful, Will's words, Tom looked teary, just gorgeous."
This is not the first occasion Sir Tom has performed on The Voice this series, as a previous episode saw him team up with Kelly Rowland for a duet that proved hugely popular with audiences. The Sex Bomb legend revealed he had collaborated with numerous artists throughout his career, "but not with you."
"Well, I am down if you are, sir," Kelly responded before they launched into Fever, the classic originally recorded by Peggy Lee.
