Take That Etihad Banned Items and Rules for Manchester Gigs

Take That is set to perform at the Etihad Stadium this weekend for a highly anticipated homecoming, marking almost two decades since their last major Manchester show. The trio—Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen—will bring their revamped Circus Live Tour to the venue for three consecutive nights, with an additional date on July 1.

Tour Background

The Circus Live Tour originally debuted in 2009, and the 2026 reboot has already garnered rave reviews from fans and critics. The tour kicked off at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium last month and has since visited Coventry, Sunderland, Glasgow, and Cardiff before arriving in Manchester. The shows feature acrobats, tightrope walkers, fire-breathers, trapeze artists, and the iconic 30ft animatronic elephant that roams through the crowd.

Outside food and drink are not allowed, but a variety of food and drink stalls are available both outside and inside the stadium, offering hot and cold options, as well as vegan and halal choices. Empty refillable water bottles (max 750ml) can be brought in and filled at water stations inside the venue.

Stage times are subject to change, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats or standing spots. For the full experience, fans can expect performances across the main stage, B stage, and central runway throughout the night.
