Strictly Come Dancing contestant Delta Goodrem has confirmed she will appear on The Voice UK as a guest mentor, joining Kelly Rowland's team. The Australian singer announced the news on social media, posting: "Back with my girl! ! !" alongside the show's official confirmation.
Reunion with Kelly Rowland
The Voice UK's Instagram account declared: "One more week of Blinds to go but look who's waiting for Kelly's acts at the Battles." The announcement drew praise from followers, including Strictly's Oti Mabuse, who commented: "This is fantastic." Another fan wrote: "KELTAAAAA TOGETHER AGAIN? ? ? I'm screaming," while a third added: "These two reunited! ! Feels correct."
Delta is competing on Strictly Come Dancing 2026, paired with Kai Widdrington. The duo secured second place on the leaderboard following their Samba to Baianá by Barbatuques. The singer previously said of joining the BBC show: "I've been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career - from tv, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world, there is however one stage I've never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor! I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can't wait to get started!"
Other guest mentors and new coaches
Alongside Delta supporting Kelly, Sir Tom Jones will be accompanied by Paloma Faith, will.i.am will be backed by Cheryl Cole, and Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones' squad will welcome their McFly colleagues, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd.
This follows the announcement of Emma Willis' successor as The Voice UK presenter, after her move to Strictly. ITV confirmed earlier this month that Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon would be stepping up as hosts. Meanwhile, vocalist Cheryl and rapper Aitch are joining as coaches, following Sir Tom's departure. Kelly and will.i.am will continue with the programme.
Kelly Rowland's statement and return date
In a statement, Kelly said: "I am excited to join The Voice UK as a coach, and am looking forward to working with the excellent and passionate coaches the show is known for. I can't wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let's go!" Kelly previously served as a judge on The X Factor UK, The X Factor USA and The Voice Australia. Delta, meanwhile, also coached for eight series on The Voice Australia and one series of The Voice Kids.
The Voice UK returns on Saturday, October 3 on ITV1 and ITVX at 8.50pm. Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday, October 3, from 6.15pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
