PS Plus February 2026 Free Games Revealed: Four Titles Including Boxing Sim and Hidden Gem
PS Plus February 2026 Free Games Line-Up Announced

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Essentials free games line-up for February 2026, delivering an expanded offering of four titles instead of the usual three. This generous selection will be available for download and play from the morning of February 3, providing subscribers ample opportunity to also secure the current January releases before they rotate out.

February 2026 PS Plus Essentials Line-Up

The February 2026 roster confirms earlier industry leaks, with the boxing simulation title Undisputed taking a prominent position. Despite receiving a mixed critical reception, the game boasts significant strengths, particularly its extensive roster of legendary and contemporary boxers. Players can step into the ring as icons like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson, or modern champions such as Canelo Alvarez, Terence Crawford, and Tyson Fury. The title also offers a deep level of customisation, allowing fans to tailor their boxing experience.

A Surreal Hidden Gem

Joining the line-up is the surreal Metroidvania Ultros, described by Sony as a hidden gem. The game is grounded in science fiction and features a distinctive, eccentric art style crafted by El Huervo, the visionary artist behind Hotline Miami. It is accompanied by a mystical soundtrack composed and performed by Oscar Rydelius, known as Ratvader.

Sony elaborates on the gameplay, stating: "Experience brutal, intimate, close-quarter combat with cosmic lifeforms. Yet this intense combat is juxtaposed with cultivating the greenery and tending to plant life in The Sarcophagus, providing precious moments of contemplation and peace."

Underwater Survival and Aerial Combat

The third title is Subnautica: Below Zero, the sequel to the acclaimed underwater survival adventure. This entry plunges players into harsh, uncharted environments teeming with terrifying new creatures to discover, promising a fresh and challenging survival experience.

Rounding out the quartet is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Originally launching to Very Positive reviews on Steam in 2019, this title offers intense aerial dogfights with a fleet of futuristic aircraft. Its inclusion is particularly timely, arriving ahead of the anticipated sequel slated for release later in the year.

What's Leaving the Service

These four new games will replace the current January line-up, which consists of Need for Speed Unbound, Core Keeper, and Disney's Epic Mickey Rebrushed. Subscribers are encouraged to add these titles to their library before they are removed on February 3.
