PlayStation Plus subscribers will learn the September 2026 Extra and Premium line-up on September 9. Sony is set to announce the next batch of games at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of September 9.
This follows the recent release of Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes for PS Plus Essentials subscribers. Based on recent release schedules, the first few titles will be available on the same day, followed by another handful on September 15, and more on September 22.
Confirmed Games So Far
One game joining the PS Plus Premium line-up for September has already been confirmed. According to Sony, Mega Man X: Command Mission will join PS Plus Premium on the morning of September 15. The classic Mega Man title was originally released back in 2004 for PS2 and Nintendo Gamecube.
Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank are also coming to PS Plus Premium in 2026, although not as part of the September line-up. Likewise, co-operative looter shooter Mycopunk has been announced for PS Plus Extra, but won't be available until October.
Fan Predictions
Without any other leaks or announcements to go on, fans have been attempting to predict the PS Plus Extra games line-up early. With FF7 Revelation spotlighted during a recent State of Play event, some fans believe Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth may join PS Plus Extra in September.
Other games tipped to appear include last year's survival horror game Silent Hill f, which would make a good appetiser for upcoming release Silent Hill Townfall. Horizon Forbidden West also gets plenty of nods, alongside RoboCop Rogue City, Dragon's Dogma 2, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
First-party platformer Astro Bot feels like it will join at some point, alongside Stellar Blade, Atomic Heart, Hades and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Other fans are hopeful that Gran Turismo 7 could make an appearance, while some optimists are holding out hope for Metaphor ReFantazio and Hollow Knight Silksong. There are also an increasing number of picks for Mafia: The Old Country.
