PlayStation Plus subscribers will get three new PS5 games on August 4, including a day-one release. The August 2026 Essentials line-up features Dying Light 2, Signalis, and Big Walk, with a release time of 9am BST in the UK.

The new games drop on August 4 at 9am BST, which is 1am PT / 4am ET in the US and 10am CET in Europe. Subscribers have until September 1 to add them to their library.

Dying Light 2 (2022) headlines the month with four-player co-op, a day/night cycle, and first-person parkour. Signalis offers retro survival horror in a surreal retrotech world, where players explore as a replicant named Elster.
Big Walk is the day-one co-op adventure about teamwork and talking. Sony describes it: "Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking." Players set out with friends through an open world of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries, needing to communicate using tools and toys, especially when speechless.
As a bonus, the line-up includes a free Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls pack with various items.
Leaving PS Plus
Current July 2026 titles expire at 9am BST on August 4. These include Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, a cross-gen reboot of the 2011 original, available on PS4 and PS5. Also leaving are CrossCode, an action RPG with pixel art and a 93% Steam rating, and For the King 2, which supports four-player co-op.
