Sony has officially unveiled the next batch of PlayStation Plus Essential games joining the service in August. Subscribers can download and play the free PS4 and PS5 titles from August 6 until September 3.
The headliners for August are LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach and Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. All three games will be available to all PS Plus Essential members as part of the monthly line-up.
The announcement comes ahead of the official reveal, which was scheduled for 4.30pm BST on July 31. Players still have until August 6 to claim the current batch of free games, including Borderlands 3, Among Us and NHL 24.
Looking further ahead, Sony has already confirmed that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be the first game joining PS Plus Essential in September, available from September 3. The game features a single-player campaign as well as cooperative and competitive online multiplayer.
