Peter Andre: Youngest Son Theo May Follow Showbiz Path

Peter Andre has given a rare glimpse into his family's career aspirations, admitting his youngest son Theo could be poised to follow in his footsteps as an entertainer.

Family Update

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 53, is a caring dad to five kids, which he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as current partner Emily MacDonagh. He shares Junior and Princess, 18, with Price, while also having Millie, 12, Theo, nine, plus two-year-old Belle with Emily, whom he wed in 2015.

Recently, Peter, who typically keeps his youngest children off social media, joined a viral trend with Theo that featured a timeless Michael Jackson number. And now it seems Peter is slowly opening up to the idea of Theo entering the spotlight.

Viral Trend

Penning in his magazine column, he revealed: "Theo and I decided to jump on the Human Nature trend, which has been all over the internet recently. We've been using a little sample of the live version of Michael Jackson's Human Nature song."

"Theo's favourite group is The Jackson Five, and so naturally, his favourite singer is MJ. It was really sweet and very special to hear from members of the Jackson family, who'd seen the video and loved it."

The former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star described Theo as a "great little artist." He then confessed there's a possibility he might go into the world of showbiz, though he realised kids can change their mind quickly.

He continued: "Theo's definitely becoming an entertainer, he wants to be in that world. He's a great little artist, his vocal and dancing skills are getting really good and it's what he wants to do - for now."

"We all know how kids change their mind. Anyway, we're just letting him develop those talents, it's great!"

Older Children's Path

Over recent years, Peter has watched his older children step into the industry as Junior has started to forge his own path in music and even made appearances on his sister's reality programme The Princess Diaries.

Just before his 21st birthday, Junior told The Mirror that his father had instilled a strong work ethic in him. He added he once took a job on the London Underground to understand the importance of having a job.

He stated: "My dad was brought up very strict, so regardless of anything, he says, 'You've got to work, son.' As much as he's there for me, and my mum is there for me, I don't want handouts. I need to learn life the proper way."

"So when things got hard, instead of sitting there doing nothing, I was like, 'I need to do what I've got to do.' I threw myself in at the deep end, but I never gave up on my dream."
