Osteria Angelina's Riso & Rosmarino: A Bittersweet Summer Cocktail

This light and refreshing cocktail is ideal for early summer, blending sake, Cynar, and Aperol with a hint of rosemary.

Recipe: Riso & Rosmarino

Serves 1

  • 50ml sake (light-bodied honjozo recommended)
  • 25ml Cynar
  • 25ml Aperol
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 12.5ml simple sugar syrup
  • Soda water, to top
  • 1 thin slice cucumber, to garnish
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, to garnish

Method: Measure the first five liquids into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with soda water, garnish with cucumber and rosemary, and serve.
