The official store page for the game has been updated to reflect the rating, but no other new information has been added. The release date is still listed as 2026, keeping hopes alive for a launch in the second half of the year.
Trailer Expected Soon
With only five months left in the year, many expect a gameplay trailer to arrive shortly. Nintendo typically hosts a Direct presentation around September, which could be the venue for a major trailer and gameplay demo. However, the company has become more unpredictable with its marketing, as seen with the sudden Starfox announcement Direct in May.
Given that Ocarina of Time is considered one of the best games ever made, Nintendo likely faces little pressure to aggressively market the remake. Gamers are expected to flock to it regardless of the launch date.
