Tickets for Oasis Live '27 went on sale today, with three onsale windows open for the band's UK dates. Ticketmaster has issued strict warnings over the sale, and tickets relisted on unauthorised platforms such as viagogo may be cancelled.
Oasis Live '27 Tour Details
Liam and Noel Gallagher will return to the stage next year for a mammoth tour, playing 42 shows across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the United States between May and September. The tour dates were announced with a drone show outside the Etihad Stadium in Manchester earlier this month, and days later it was confirmed the band would play 11 shows at the City ground between June 4 and 26.
The Britpop legends will also play Ireland's Slane Castle, as well as Celtic Park in Glasgow and Knebworth Park in Stevenage, where the band will conclude the tour with six shows between September 11 and 26 next year. Richard Ashcroft will support the band on all 42 gigs.
Ticket Sale and Resale Rules
Fans were required to sign up to a special ballot system in advance, with those who successfully registered given a special window opportunity. The first windows for the UK shows opened today (September 25), with the first at 9am and the next two at 1pm and 5pm. For the UK shows, there will be other on-sale windows at the same times on Saturday and Sunday.
Before the sale got underway, Ticketmaster confirmed a list of strict rules. Within the terms and conditions, Ticketmaster warned that tickets must not be purchased with the intention of reselling them for profit. If a fan does need to resell their ticket, they can only be listed for the price they paid, and tickets can only be relisted on Ticketmaster resale or on Twickets.
Tickets Appearing on Resale Sites
Shortly after the first onsale window opened, tickets were already appearing on re-sale sites such as viagogo. One reseller was advertising two Section 130 tickets at £2,988 each for the Friday, June 4 show at the Etihad Stadium. Another row 130 ticket was also available for £2,965. At the same show, two front standing tickets were available for £1,118 each, described by viagogo as the 'best deal' for the show. The lowest general admission ticket available on the resale platform for the show was £675.
Tickets for the first night at Glasgow's Celtic Park on May 21 were also available on the platform for up to £1,129 at the time of writing. There is a chance that tickets re-listed on viagogo or on other non-approved third party outlets will be cancelled. The most reliable way of getting Oasis tickets is through the Ticketmaster sale for those with access, or via Ticketmaster re-sale or on Twickets.
A statement from viagogo reads: "Resale is legal in the UK. viagogo is a safe, secure and regulated marketplace and is fully compliant in the UK. We oppose anti-competitive actions taken by event organisers to restrict purchasing and resale options to certain platforms, as they ultimately harm fans by limiting their choice, flexibility and access. We will continue to advocate for access, transparency and open marketplaces for event lovers. Fans purchasing through viagogo are protected by our guarantee, which ensures they receive their tickets in time for the event and, in the rare event of an issue, are offered replacement tickets or their money back."
