Tickets for the Oasis 2027 tour have already begun appearing on resale sites, with some seats in Manchester available for close to £3,000. This comes despite strict ticket policies designed to ensure tickets are sold to fans.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Liam and Noel Gallagher would be heading on tour together again next year for a string of dates across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the United States. Kicking off in Glasgow in May, the tour will include eleven shows at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. It will be the first time the brothers have played the iconic City ground. They famously played Maine Road in 1996.
Resale listings appear despite warnings
Tickets for the UK and European dates have begun to go on sale this morning with a strict policy in place to ensure they are sold to fans. This has included a registration process and a ticket ballot where people are sent a unique code. Fans have been told this process, via Ticketmaster, is the only way of securing tickets to all of the 42 shows next year. People have also been warned that tickets may be voided if they are resold outside of Ticketmaster or Twickets.
Despite this, a number of tickets have since appeared for sale on popular resale site Viagogo this morning. One reseller is currently advertising two Section 130 tickets at £2,988 each for the Friday, June 4 show at the Etihad Stadium. Another row 130 ticket was also available for £2,965. At the same show, another two tickets for front standing are also available for £1,118 each and have been described by Viagogo as the 'best deal' for the show. The lowest general admission ticket available on the resale platform for the show is £675.
Ticket prices and restrictions
Tickets for the first night at Glasgow's Celtic Park on May 21 were also available on the platform for up to £1,129 at the time of writing. Ahead of tickets going on sale, Ticketmaster had warned that tickets could only be resold via Ticketmaster or Twickets. The ticket outlet added that these tickets will only be able to be sold via the ‘original price paid’ and will become available closer to the dates of the tour.
Standard UK ticket prices will be fixed and range between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees. There are also a number of VIP Packages for The Etihad, Celtic Park, and Knebworth ranging from £305.50 to £571, but these vary between the three venues and come with different add-ons. Those who do not follow these rules run the risk of having their tickets cancelled if bought via non-approved third party outlets. Both Ticketmaster and Viagogo have been approached by the M.E.N for comment.
