Noughty 90s festival returns to Newcastle's Leazes Park for the August Bank Holiday weekend, with Vengaboys and Basshunter topping the bill on Saturday.
The always well attended event is back for another year, bringing a lineup of 90s and 00s nostalgia acts to the park. Organisers have assembled a list of performers that deliver a hearty helping of nostalgia, filling the air around Leazes Park with the sounds of top tier anthems from the era.
Pop Stage headliners and support acts
This year, Vengaboys are the main attraction on the Pop Stage, following warm-up sets from Gareth Gates, Ultrabeat, Kroud Karaoke and East 17. The Dance Stage headline slot for 2026 goes to Basshunter, who will perform after sets from Sash, Andy Whitby and Flip 'n' Fill, among others. There will also be a Bounce Stage at the event.
Last year, the Pop Stage featured acts including Atomic Kitten, A1, 911 and Blazin' Squad, while the Dance Stage hosted sets from Darren Styles and Ian Van Dahl. This year's event sees a large crowd expected to gather in the shadow of St James' Park, less than 24 hours after McFly headline an outdoor gig there as part of the Park Series concerts.
