Netflix's latest film features some rom-com royalty. Voicemails for Isabelle is Netflix's brand new original film that promises to be a must-watch for romantic comedy fans. The streaming service is on fire this year with several exclusive releases becoming big hits, from Jennifer Lopez's Office Romance to the sensational Emily Henry adaptation People We Meet on Vacation. Another star-studded film is joining its ranks this weekend, as Voicemails for Isabelle follows two strangers who meet and fall in love under the most unexpected of circumstances. When a chef's beloved sister suddenly dies, she copes with the crushing loss by continuing to leave her voicemails. Unbeknownst to her, the number has been reassigned to a charming real estate agent, who begins to fall for the mysterious and enchanting voice in his phone.

Meet the Cast of Voicemails for Isabelle

Zoey Deutch as Jill

Jill is a rising chef star currently working at Flâner, a fancy patisserie based in San Francisco. She's played by actress Zoey Deutch, who is no stranger when it comes to rom-coms. Deutch has previously starred in indie films like Everybody Wants Some!! and Flower before gaining mainstream recognition with Zombieland: Double Tap and Set It Up, opposite Hollywood star Glen Powell. Other major roles include Juror #2, Something From Tiffany's, Anniversary, and a voice role in the upcoming Minions & Monsters.

Nick Robinson as Wes

Wes is a successful real estate agent based in Austin, Texas, which also happens to be Jill's hometown which she left to pursue her baking career. Robinson will also be familiar to rom-com fans as he starred in 2018 hit Love, Simon. His breakout roles include The Kings of Summer and Jurassic World, and he's since gone on to star in several major Netflix productions, including Millie Bobby Brown-led action film Damsel. He has also appeared in Netflix dramas Maid and The Abandons and made guest appearances in Hulu's Love, Simon spin-off series, Love, Victor.

Nick Offerman as Chef Bastien

Jill's overbearing boss Chef Bastien is brought to life by comedy icon Nick Offerman. He's probably best known for his starring role as Ron Swanson in Parks & Recreation. He has since gone on to land a wide range of both dramatic and comedic roles, from 21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie and The Great North to political thriller Civil War and Apple TV drama Margo's Got Money Troubles. Offerman also starred in The Kings of Summer with Voicemails for Isabelle co-star Nick Robinson.

Lukas Gage as Arthur

Arthur is Jill's confident yet complicated colleague at Flâner and is played by rising star Lukas Gage. After breakout roles in American Vandal, Euphoria and The White Lotus, Gage has become a familiar face in major TV dramas and films, including Netflix's hit thriller You, horror films Smile 2 and Companion, and Netflix's People We Meet on Vacation.

Harry Shum Jr. as Andy

Andy is Wes's childhood best friend and they're so close they call each other 'cousins'. He's brought to life by actor and dancer Harry Shum Jr. who got his start on hit series Glee and Shadowhunters. He has since landed a main role in the latest seasons of Grey's Anatomy, hit comedy-action film Everything Everywhere All at Once, and voice roles in Kung Fu Panda 4 and Blue Eye Samurai.

Ciara Bravo as Isabelle

Actress Ciara Bravo is behind the titular Isabelle, who tragically develops cancer at a young age and passes away but whose relationship with sister Jill is explored over the course of the film. Bravo is a former Nickelodeon star known for the hit series Big Time Rush as well as their TV films Jinxed and Swindle. She has also appeared in Cherry with Tom Holland, Swiped with Lily James and You're Dating a Narcissist! with Marisa Tomei.

Supporting Cast

Voicemails for Isabelle also includes the following in supporting roles: Spencer Lord (The Last of Us) as Scott, Gil Bellows (American Gods) as Jill and Isabelle's Dad, Tanis Dolman (Fire Country) as Jill and Isabelle's Mum, and Leah McKendrick (I Know What You Did Last Summer) as Breeda. Fans keeping a close eye on the credits will notice that actress McKendrick also wrote and directed the film. She made her directorial debut with the comedy-drama Scrambled. Voicemails for Isabelle is available to stream on Netflix.
