Muse to Play Two Huge Manchester Shows on European Tour

Rock band Muse have announced two massive shows in Manchester later this year as part of a major European and UK tour. Tickets will go on sale soon.

Muse Announce Tour Dates

The English band, known for hits like Time Is Running Out, Supermassive Black Hole, and Plug in Baby, first formed in 1994. They have released nine studio albums to date, with their tenth, The Wow! Signal, set for release later this month.

Having sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, Muse have earned Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards, and NME Awards. Their two BRIT Awards, in 2005 and 2007, were both for Best Live Act, with their shows often hailed as spectacular due to their set design, atmosphere, and vocals.

Manchester Shows

To coincide with the release of their upcoming album, Muse have unveiled details of The Wow! Signal Europa Tour. Originally consisting only of US dates, which kick off in Milwaukee on July 2, 16 new UK and Europe dates have been added. Manchester will kick off the European leg.

The band will play at Co-op Live on November 12 and 13, two of only four UK shows. They will also perform at The O2 in London on November 15 and 16.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the Manchester shows go on sale next Friday (June 19) at 10am via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Pre-sale opportunities are available:

  • Co-operative Members can access early tickets from Wednesday (June 17) at 10am.
  • Live Nation will offer a pre-sale.
  • Fans who pre-ordered the latest album via the official Muse website can also buy tickets early.

The 42-date tour includes shows in Milan, Dusseldorf, Paris, Amsterdam, Montpellier, and Zurich, with two performances at AG Hallenstadion on December 7 and 8 currently closing the itinerary.

Throughout the US leg, the band will be supported by Bloc Party, Portugal. The Man, and The Temper Trap on select dates. Support acts for UK and European shows have not yet been announced.
