Bungie's upcoming extraction shooter Marathon is set to launch on March 5, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game, which draws on the developer's experience from Destiny 2, features a neon art style and promises a robust content roadmap through 2026. However, its £34.99 price tag has raised concerns among some players.
PC gamers can now pre-order Marathon at a 23% discount via third-party retailer Loaded, bringing the price down to £26.99. This offer includes the pre-order bonus, which consists of cosmetic items. The Deluxe edition is also discounted to £39.99 from £49.99.
Unfortunately, the discount is not available for console versions. Marathon is a digital-only title at launch, so console players must purchase it from the Xbox or PlayStation stores at full price. Those who have played Destiny 2 can link their accounts to receive additional cosmetics, regardless of pre-ordering.
