Tonight's National Lottery Lotto draw offers a jackpot of £4.4m, with the main draw taking place at 8pm followed by the Thunderball draw at 8.15pm, which has a top prize of £500,000. Tickets cost £2 and must be purchased by 7.30pm.
How the Lotto draw works
As of last month, each Lotto draw now consists of two separate rounds, and all players are automatically entered into both draws with one ticket. In the first round, a set of 59 balls is used; six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball. Matching two or more numbers from your line wins cash. Then a second set of 59 balls is used in the second draw machine, with the same rule applying.
The jackpot is won by matching all six main numbers. Matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball wins £1,000,000, and matching five main numbers wins £1,750. Smaller prizes are available for matching two or more numbers.
Draw schedule and other games
Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 8pm. EuroMillions draws are on Tuesday and Friday, and Set For Life draws on Monday and Thursday. Tonight's Thunderball draw follows the Lotto at 8.15pm.
