Each line played in the National Lottery Lotto now enters two rounds, giving players two chances to win in a single draw. The odds of landing any prize stand at roughly one in 4.9 per draw.
Tonight's draws
The Lotto numbers will be drawn at 8pm, with a £5.9m jackpot on offer. The Thunderball draw, with a £500,000 top prize, follows shortly after. Both sets of winning numbers will be published here as soon as they are announced.
Record Lotto winners
The largest Lotto win to date came in April 2016, when an anonymous player banked £35m. Two ticketholders each collected £33m in January 2016. In January 1996, a £42,008,610 main Lotto jackpot was shared by three anonymous winners, each receiving £14,002,870. A single ticket won £26.4m on New Year's Eve in 2016.
How Lotto money is distributed
Half of all money spent by players goes to the prize fund, while 28% supports good causes, 12% is paid to the UK Government as duty, 5% goes to retailers, and 5% to the operator. The National Lottery was first drawn on November 19, 1994.
